What do the Green Bars mean?

What do the green bars mean which appear just under your posts?

Some members here have slightly less posts than me and have 2 or 3 boxes and we still have the 1.

I think you mean reputation points. People can give you "rep" for good posts or information if they like or give you "bad rep" for bad posts etc.

Just use the scales sign, to add or take away reputation points.
