Well now you can without buying Adobe writer.

I think this is a cracking bit of free software for creating PDFs. It works by using the Print function, so from any application just hit print and select pdf redirect as your printer and it prints the current doc into PDF format, it brings a nice display to control save location etc and then auto shows the result.

PDF Redirect, can get it from download.com as usual.

I use Primo PDF and works great using the same method, anyway you can create PDF files very easy online using the Adobe web site

CutePDF is what I am currently using. Before this I was using Macromedia Flashpaper to convert most files to PDFs!

You can also do it quickly in OpenOffice if you have that software.

there's a few of these around, thank god! some word processing packages (not microsoft word) also have thes ebuilt in.
