Microsoft recently released a free backup tool called Synctoy (typical Microsoft name) that appears to be a pretty good addition to any backup strategy you may currently be employing.
The tool allows you to designate 'folder pairs'. Once you set up the pairs Synctoy will keep the documents in the folders in sync. I chose an option that keeps a mirror of My Documents on my E drive (If I add something to My documents on my C drive it will be added to the E drive and if I delete something it will also be deleted). There are six different options available to help you customize the sync operation to your individual requirements. You can find the download here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/results.aspx?pocId=&freetext=synctoy&DisplayLang=e n - The only drawback I have found so far is that it does not do a 'live sync' - instead it syncs 'on demand'.
