This is the first time I hear that scriptlance and getafreelancer have some affiliate programs! How does it work?

don't know, but there were affiliate links in the url so I removed them. The sites are in all fairness good resources, the affiliate ID's were not

Scriptlance is good - but be very carefull! Never ever ever hand over your work before taking payment as some people on their have no shame.

Twice I have had people take work and try to not pay for it by "dissapearing". It takes a lot of work to track them down and really - it's not worth the time and effort.

The opposite is also true, never handover money till you are satisfied with the work, the best think is to actually use escrow service. I once paid a guy from Ukraine to create a script for me, I gave him 50% of the payment, that was the last I heard from him
