Default Adsense Affiliate Scheme

As no one seems to have mentioned it, I thought I would.

Google have launched an affiliate scheme for adsense which pays $100 per referal, once the person you refer earns their first $100.

Perhaps more significantly they are also doing a Firefox affiliate scheme for adsense publishers where you get $1 per person that downloads a version of the browser bundled with the Google toolbar.

Following on from their announcement to promote OpenOffice it seems Google are really going after M$

NOTE: The firefox scheme isn't available to UK publishers (yet)

yeah I've read some news on this

news.com.com/Google+introduces+ad-services+referral+program/2100-1024_3-5937844.html

I was a bit surprised that google took this long to implement refferal system.

Google and firefox are expected to support one another, since one has the money and the other has the exposure. Firefox has had tremendous market gains lately, so it's only natural that google would plow deeper into this.

The only thing that's worrying me is that while we take down one giant, we seems to create others, and there's no telling which way it'll go in the future.
