Jagger: Rumours panic facts and fictions

There seem to be lots of Rumours about the final jagger updates about, I got email from a former link partner asking me to remove his links because jagger updates is supposed to be bad for site with reciprocal links etc etc, I don't believe this, I have another site which is purely dedicated to link exchange, its seem to be getting more traffic post jagger than prejagger.

Anyway, is there anyone out there who know the fact about jagger so that facts can be separated from fiction?
