Mail parsing script

Hello,

Does anybody know a script which is parsing received e-mails?
I want to make an application which is putting the received emails in a database.
I found a way but it is not the most secure.

Can you explain a bit more about what you are trying to do. If you are getting users to submit information for a database perhaps a web form would be easier? just a suggestion

Yes.

I want to make an application that will take the mails which arrive in my account and put them into a database to be accesed later. Something like Outloo, but online.

I have made one such a script, but it has a fault. I can't gat chmod working. I need to set chmod to the inbox file to 777 or 666 I'm not sure so I can read the mails and delete them.

OK guys, I found out a way.

PHP has some extraordinary functions: imap_xxxxxx. These are used to work with your inbox. Great stuff.
