Default Microsoft talks to Time Warner

Firms want to entice users by offering the most complete product
The world's largest software company Microsoft and media giant Time Warner are in talks about how the two US firms can work more closely together.
Press reports claim the talks focus on two areas - the first could see Time Warner's AOL replace its current search engine Google with Microsoft's product.

Secondly, they speculate that Microsoft is keen to buy part of AOL and merge it with its own internet business.

The two have declined to comment and a deal is not thought to be imminent.

That'd be a major blow to google. But to be honest google would still stay no.1 regardless of how many other affiliates MSN takes over.

Google is in our thoughts now. If I want to search I am much more likely to go to google.com than use any search bar anyway. Google will always be the first thing people think of when they think about searching the internet.

No, they'll lose marketshare some day. And the cycle continues...
