My first ban

Well I guess it had to happen sooner or later, but I actually have to ban my first member from Lifesupporters.com. I'm no stranger to kicking/banning on other sites and on gaming servers but I'm curious, what kind of tard causes trouble on a family friendly forum?

well, just reflect the diversity you find in real families is being replicated on family forums

I've been banned from two forums now. I consider them trophies, as I was simply banned for being RIGHT and some of the other members didn't like it LOL.

I love political forums, as well as webmaster forums. And I love a good flame war now and then. Why do I like to get under people's skin as a sport? Character flaw????

I'm no angel myself and have been banned from a forum or two in my time, I'm sure most of us have. However I was banned for speaking my mind toward staff members with my issues via PM usually, not for public display of arseholity.

I simply won't tolerate certain things at my sites, among some of the infractions are:

- member bashing, do it your gone
- arguing
- belittling the site and/or it's staff/members because you don't like something or are simply bored
- stirring the pot

All of the above leads to more trouble and always has the chance of snowballing and dragging otherwise good members into the sesspool.

Well, there certainly are 'debate' forums and 'discussions' forums.

I've had disagreements on forums before, but I've never been banned.

Then again, I argue based on what I know and I don't just do tings like type in 100 swear words and C+P them into 100 different posts.

Disagreeing is fine, blatantly insulting members and staff isn't. If you have a beef at a webforum, bring it up via PM's or a somewhat respectable new post, anything else is begging for trouble.

I laugh at folks who get all worked up over Internet MSG board exchanges. It's like real life to them or something. LOL

Well I can't have tards making fun of people who are spilling their guts online. For many people, this type of board may be their only means of communication so I'm not taking it too lightly.
