Google increases adsense payment to webnasters?

There is rumour that Google has increased the amount it pays webmasters for displaying adsense in a bid to stop webmasters flocking adsense rival Yahoo is launching soon.

google have recently introduced a series of enhancements to the adsense programme that has resulted in people earning more, rather than increasing the % paid.

How much did google pay you for this PR OWG . And I take it this enhancement has nothing to do with Yahoo Publisher network being on he horizon

Now Temi I never said that LOL. I think this enhancement has EVERYTHING to do with another big player (or two) /<cough MSN> coming on the scene. They have though altered the way they disable ads which is pushing up the minimum click cost, and altered how many ads and which as they show by way of performance. So in a nutshell you are getting better quality ads at a higher cost.

They may also be paying more though, who knows

Thanks for that clarification OWG. No word on MSN joining the fray yet but it will be excellent if they do. Monopoly or even duopoly is bad for business. The old one among us will remember when BT , British Gas and BA used to be the only planer in their filed, it was not very nice back then.
