I use both blogger and wordpress, I like wordpress alot, it's easy to use and comes with many features. I use blogger at blogspot, also not bad, but I prefer wordpress now.
I've heard that http://nucleuscms.org/ is also very good.

Dont forget http://pingomatic.com/ thats a good one, pings your blog to lots of different places
