Hi all,

My company is hosting a website with a hosting company and the site is really very slow.In the server we have 50000Kb of allocated disk space and we have used 48037KB. i jus wanna know if there should me a minimum % of free space on the hosting server for the site to run with out any issues. Please help me out.

It's gonna depend on what kind of hardware you site is on and what the connection speed to and from the database is. The more information you have on your database, the longer your load times may be, but it shouldn't be really noticeable unless your getting lots of traffic at the same time. If your the only one sending requests to the database then you may have a server issue.

If you really need all that stored data, then you may want to upgrade to a beefier package.

thank u mate.and sory for the delay.........was quite busy so was unable to post my reply.any way the issue is resolved they migrated my site to a new server and is working fine now................thank u for your help
