the only people who can guarantee you a listing are corrupt editors. Don't waste your money!

DMOZ is useful, other directories are said take their content from DMOZ, but it's only good as a backlink. Getting into DMOZ is a pain in the backside, some sites get listed in days, other equally good sites never.

There's no guarantee of getting into DMOZ, OWG is right corrupt editors are the only guarantee of acceptance, and is it worth it, I dont think so!

If you build enough, good quality backlinks, you don't need DMOZ, I think. Build links - not waste your money to corrupt DMOZ editors.

If you get listed in dmoz you will be there in google's directory too.
But there is none who can guarantee a listing in DMOZ.
You can Do it yourself. Use your sites name as title and 5 to 8 words of description can get you listed there. It may take some time anything from 3 months to a Year.
You don't have to pay a cent for it.

Though sometimes, it never happens.
