Default Concerns expressed at Google Yahoo partnering

Regulators in the US are being urged to investigate any potential online advertising and search partnership between Google and Yahoo.

They are worried about the fact that Google will have a complete monopoly of the search market if any such deal should go ahead.

What do you think of this potential partnership between Yahoo and Google?

It will never happen. Google and Yahoo! have too many anti trust issues. Don't count Microsoft out just yet. I get the feeling they will pull the rug out from under Yahoo's feet.

A rumor is circulating about Jerry Yang may no longer be in control of the company (unofficially)?

I don't think Microsoft would have just forgotten about Yahoo, overnight. Maybe, they are doing some 'long term deals behind the scene' with more important Yahoo's stakeholders?
