Default Yahoo Restarts Yahoo Mail Classic Updating

Since the Sunnyvale-based company Yahoo has officially rolled out the new Yahoo Mail, previously known as beta, people almost forgot about Yahoo Mail Classic,
although there are a few enthusiasts who are still using it. Ryan K., Community Manager, Yahoo Mail, announced today that the updating process that was paused a few months ago, was officially restarted so users of Yahoo Mail Classic should be able to see new features anytime soon.

For those of you who forgot or missed the news, Yahoo announced in October that a few brand new features were prepared for the users of Yahoo Mail Classic and mentioned that most of them would be rolled out in the next months. However, in December 2007, Yahoo paused the updating process due to the holiday season, during which "communication is very important" for most users.

"This is an absolutely critical time of the year for communicating and, although we know you are excited to experience the updated Mail Classic, the Yahoo! Mail team is mitigating exposure for users by delaying the product push until January," Ryan K. wrote on the Yahoo Mail blog on December 4, 2007.
