tld (top level domain) for all of them and more specifically gtld (generic top level domain) for .com & cctld (country code top level domain) for .co.uk, .ca, .us etc.

Yep country code ie co.uk is also known as second level domain name or secondary level domain name TLD are com net org etc then secondaries are .uk .nz .us etc

.uk has .gov.uk .org.uk 7 OTHERS within it
