My client is looking for a faster server for their ecommerce web site.

They are looking for a Windows hosting account that supports Microsoft Access database and ASP scripting.

The average load time per kb must be 0.02 seconds or faster in order to beat the nearest competition.

If anyone can advise me of the best web host for speed and reliability please get in touch or reply to this post with details.

Rackspace for me but then Fasthost is ok too.

No fasthosts is slow. Some rackspace sites are fast. I'm trying to determine which hosting packages are faster than 0.02 seconds per kb of data on average.

I own quite a few e-commerce sites with very heavy traffic and one of them is graphically intense. Both are on UK dedicated servers at Rackspace and they load with in seconds.

I guess it depends on you're clients budget.

At the moment they probably want to spend under £50 per month.
