Google PR Update
I think there was a Google dance overnight, I have noticed PR change in a few of my sites, has anyone else noticed anything?

I was just going to post about this, my site went from a PR 4 to a PR 6 and only within the last few hours. The funny thing is that I have no idea how I acheived a PR 6 at Lifesupporters. I'll take it tho.

Yes
Yes Temi, I have notice this PR changes, It seems that from the last update has pass 111 days. In this 111 days I have notice also some minor PR changes, but this PR changes seems to be a massive PR change.

Looks like they've changed again, either that or I'm the unlickiest SOB on the planet because I'm back down to a PR 4.
What a drag.

Duke, it could be a data centre thing. It takes a while for the update to propagate around the data centres.

It wasn't just my site either, now I'm back up to a PR 6 again and last night at post time this forum was a PR 5. Now I'm back at 6 and this forum is back at 4, weird.

It isn't the sites, it is the datacentres. When you go to google, you get sent to various datacentres, depending on the load and location. The updates have to porpagate across the google network,so you could run a search one second and get results from an updated datacentre, and another search a second later and get old results. It takes a while for it to get right across the entire G network.

Hmmn, I had no idea, thanks for explaining.
It's just weird because I've never seen this before, or at least never noticed it.

Well I'm back down to a PR 4, what a bummer. It's been like that all day and I'm a little skeptical that it will come back up to a 6. I sure hope it does though.
