email spam wastes about 2 hours a day

Email is becoming a broken business tool, employees are said to spend between 90 minutes to 120 minutes a day wadding through spam to get to emails of quality, about 9 our of 10 emails are said to be spam. Some companies such as Deloitte are reported to be introducing email free day; staff are encourage to ignore their emails for the day and use old fashion communication methods such as talking to their colleagues face to face or talking to them on the phone.
At the moment, email sent worldwide is about 196 Billion emails a day, its is projected to hit 374 Billion per day by 2011.

As luck would have it most of my email accounts are not really having that problem(yet)but i have a yahoo one that i am closing down because of the Little blue pill crap that keeps coming in every day and that accounts for about 95% of mail that comes into the Inbox.

Most Yahoo users complain that they get lots of spam.

The one I get very little spam in is my Hotmail account. The others are deluged every day with spam.

I got 498 emails today, this morning when I logged on my computer. I only needed to look at six of those the rest was automatically trashed. I get spam all day long. One week I did not check emails I came back to over 4000 emails. Lucky for me many of these emails have a "banned" word in them that gets them banned and trashed. I hope no one sends me something important that has one of those words. My kdc directory was wide open to exploit, I got hundreds of emails until I installed a captcha

Spams in the form of Emails are very common and i am also fed up with the spammers as logging into the account i get around 200-400 mails per day but few are only important otherwise all are spams.

The main spammers are the viagra and the other adult medicine's. My yohoo account is full of spams so i have made a personal account at gmail and got relief for sometime but now the spams are coming to that account also but are few in numbers.

So, as you said temi that till 2011 the projected email per day will be 374 Billion. Means that if we count the spams then so much of time will be wasted in removing these bulk mails.
