By CBS MarketWatch,
"SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) - Many of Yahoo's financial message boards were hit by an outage Friday afternoon. The outage appeared to delete most posted messages. A Yahoo spokesman said the problem developed earlier in the day Friday. "We're experiencing temporary issues with our message boards and we're working to resolve the issues," said Brian Elson, a spokesman for the company. He said no user data would be lost. He said he didn't know when the problem would be resolved." But inspite of this, shares of Yahoo rose $1.37 to $36.70 Friday. I think they are on their own. |
