Default There has to be something wrong with my site

After doing a bit of digging around i have reaslised that 30 visits a day really isnt much for a website that is over 6 months old. There has to be something wrong with my site. Known problems include:

In google webmaster tools, i have a few hundred 404 errors as i have recently deleted some product categories and moved things around, etc.

I have Home*-*Redline Maxed in an enom account pointing to redlinemaxed.co.uk. Is this bad in Google's eyes? A couple of people said i need to do a 303 re-direct (think it was 303 anyway) but i have no idea how to do that.

is this considered duplicate content:
Neon Lighting*-*Redline Maxed
There are 5 different items with the same descriptions but of different colours.

I am using Joomla and JoomSEF to create meta info but that info isnt showing up on the pages. Trying to solve this problem but cant find any info that is useful.

I know that i only have one backlink in Google but i'm working on that.

Craig,
You are now doing excellent research on your site.... I will actually suggest you do something else with your .com maybe turn it to a link directory or something instead of forwarding it to your .co.uk

Another think is that you should research the keywords people looking for your products are likely to use to search and use that as anchor text when promoting your site for example the anchor text "Vehicle styling" etc but use google or overture tool to find the best keyords and get them associate with your site.
You should also look at your logs and identify the keywords that is bringing you the most traffic at present and optimise it

i cant do something else with the .com as i hand out stickers for people to put on their cars and that is the .com domain. the last thing i want is people beong sent to the wrong domain. I was thinking something like create a simple one page site with a message saying "Our site has moved" or something and then a link.

Also, i have a pretty good idea about the keywords i should be using but i have created some custom meta descriptions and keywords but due to some kind of error in JoomSEF, this data isn't reaching the pages. I think if i could get that working, it would be a major boost

Is it worth paying somebody to fix the problems?
