    Default RSS improve my SEO Pagerank and Traffic?

    Hello,

    I am the biggest fan of RSS feed but I have a question: RSS improve my SEO Pagerank and Traffic?
    Of course I know that every news I insert in my site is a link to the person who made the news public trough RSS.

    RSS works well if you register your feed(s) with different aggregators. There are so many now so it is possible to increase traffic, as long as you have something original to say.

    Also where ever you deploy your RSS make sure you use the
    Code:
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Articles from www.dmscs.co.uk forum" href="http://www.dmscs.co.uk/forum/rss2.php">
    This activates the RSS syndication feature of Firefox etc which is a little square thing in the bottom right of the browser. I have found this make a huge difference to my feed useage.

    If you are talking about adding other peoples feed to your website, then just make sure it is relevent to your website content.

    Is your website Velnet? Just took a look and it could do with some attention to detail there, dows not work properly in firefox. Nice colours and design though!!

    Really simple syndication feed.

    have a look at the rugby forum news page here http://www.scumv.co.uk/news.php The entire news section body copy is aggregated RSS feeds, they update automatically so once it is set in place I don't have to update it. The stuffon the right in white is RSS, the stuff on the left are forum posts that are pulled dynamically from the forum. The news brings people back, who then see the forum posts, nd will click on them to read more. The news also generates material for the forum as it is on topic to the forum content. They work symbiotically.

    A simple technical description of RSS though is this: http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/12/18/dive-into-xml.html
