Article submission, free directory submission, forum posting - which one is best

Hello Friends:

I currently use 3 SEO methods to improve my websites and got some back-links for each site. I currently use Article submission, free directory submission, and forum posting. I do not know which method got me some backlinks.

Can you please rank each method so I know which one to focus more?

1. Article submission
2. Free directory submission
3. Forum posting
4. Others (please list)

Please advice.

All of them are good ways for building backlinks. Just keep on building with relevant backlinks.

All three are useful.. you can also do blog commenting, social bookmarking, link exchange, search engine submission, press release.. etc..

jennypretty back links are inbound links.

I'll rank them as 1, 3, 2, directories tend to not build good sites.
