European Commission advisory body on data protection want search engines to delete data about their users collected as part of the search process after six months.
Google and Yahoo anonymise user data after 18 months, while MSN uses data, five months less than Google and Yahoo at 13 months.
This EU advisory body's recommendation will probably become and EU law in due course.
