Hi,
'long time listener, first time caller'
Would you like to see your link here?: http://www.stealthhosts.com/extras/extras_banners.php
Please let me know.
Page was only uploaded yesterday so here is your chance to be listed high up as I am placing links in order of signup.
Obviously PR ranking will not go up for a short whil until google update so this is your chance to get in early.
Please let me know if you have any questions
Lewis

I know this is a stupid question, but what happens to my link after I submit? I put your site in a block on the footer of my main page (PR 5 currently) as well as copy that banner and add a site description with link back to your site in my Web Links area. Since I go through this trouble, I can't stand being buried amongst unfindable pages and it's the only reason I refuse some of the link requests I receive almost daily.
Also, on a side note, do you guys offer rigs for online multiplayer gaming? More specifically, Battlefield 2, Ranked 32 player server?
Here's a side note: DON'T SUBMIT TO ANY DIRECTORY NOW!

To be honest, PR ranking is overrated and as such, we have never bothered to optimise our pages for pagerank. I get annoyed by the fact that even the same page has different ranks depending on whether or not a www. has been placed in the url by the user. As well as the fact that all pages are ranked independantly. Either a site is good or it isn't right?Originally Posted by Duke
I am not forcing anybody to place links, to some people, it is more important that their links are out there because they have a genuine service/informational item that they want as many people as possible to see. This is my situation. As a business we offer high quality business solutions to UK companies, I have no desire to spend every moment in the office trying to get another pagerank on another page. I am sure my customers would rather that I was spending my time doing the job they are paying me to do. It is my experience that people in the same industry as I am who spend a lot of time on pagerank and other similar ideas, do so because their customer base is small and they feel it will make or break their business. Our company started without a website and the website has become secondary to our reputation which brings in far more business than our website.
As I say, we are creating a block for all pages of our site for maximum coverage for the people who link to us. This not only means that you will be on our ranked pages, but also that your link will appear on all 70 pages, if you can find a newspaper that will advertise your service for free on 70 pages then that would obviously be a better solution. That's all in my humble opinion of course. I am not going to make anybody do it, it's there if people would like to.
Thanks
Lewis

I only made mention of Page Rank as it is extremely important to some people when getting into reciprocal link programs. I've run into a number of sites that won't even accept link exchanges unless you have a minimum PR level determined by their webmaster. I could give a crap about PR personally in my link exchanges, so long as the content fits my sites theme.
You are 100% correct, pagerank is VERY important to some webmasters/siteowners, and you are again correct in saying that min PR levels exist for some link programs. The problem is, that you end up in an equity card situation. You can't get the links unless you have PR and you cant get PR unless you have the links (to a certain extent of course).Originally Posted by Duke
I also feel exactly the same about PR as you do (in case you didn't guess) and I will be happy to link to anyone so long as:
a) the content is suitable for display on a business website
b) the content is not in direct competition
I think because of the way 'some' link programs are run, everybody is on the defensive about them. I am not running it to get ranked/listed etc. I am running it so that my site visitors can use the links to find other services they may require and visa versa with links placed on their site(s). With a million hits a month, any link I place on my site gets clicked by approx 5% of my visitors (just based on last month) if anyone would like to have theirs as a potential link then I am more than happy.
