Not, "trolling" at all. And I didn't want to make it clear due to the fact I didn't want to hurt any feelings. Now I will make myself clear.

Directories are a dime a dozen now' days. Some are good. Some are bad. Some are even considered link farms and used by black hat SEOs (I'm sure OWG could back me on that one). All ALGOS are changing right now, including google. The fad of submitting one's site to every known directory will surely come back to bite, as the bad directories get blacklisted, and the sites listed on those directories take a beating as well.

Who knows what the search engines will considered a good or bad directory in the future? I don't, but I sure as h*ll wouldn't be submitting my site to some Johnny Jackleg, 19 post count's directory. And I don't care how highly Johnny Jackleg recommends his directory. And that's simply my opinion based on real life experiences, both shared and personal.

Have I made myself clear, now?

Good!

Good luck with your directory.

I agreed with everything you said up until you decided to make the "I sure as h*ll wouldn't be submitting my site to some Johnny Jackleg, 19 post count's directory. And I don't care how highly Johnny Jackleg recommends his directory" comment.

Firstly, Where did the directory come from? Perhaps checking things before posting may leave you looking like you are better informed. A group of uncatagorised links does not make a directory. Secondly, the way you put your comment seems to suggest that you think posts maketh the man, if so then you are obviously a better man/businessman/webmaster/coder/developer than I because you have the time to make more posts than I do, congratulations! When I responded to your original comment, I did so not understanding you intentions, now I have a better Idea of them, I will know how to respond to them better in future.
I see no constructiveness in the posts you have made, only a sense of eliteism, well if so, I would prefer that I were not involved in them, I view it as petty and small minded.

Thanks

We're all entitled to our opinions. And I stated the post not to be factual, but only my opinion. If your perception is that I'm attempting to be, "elite", then your perception is wrong. My initial post was to help, as well as the response to you referring to me as a, "troll".

Don't dish it out if you can't take it. And, BTW, I still stand by my, "johnny jackleg" comment. Don't take it personal, unless you think you're a, "johnny jackleg" type gig. And there's nothing wrong with, "johnny jackleg" gigs. This, "johnny jackleg" does OK for himself.

Peace!

Nice site duke, I used phpnuke for a long time for a network security site, I like it's 'plug and play' nature, good to see a non-standard theme for a change. I only briefly looked at it as it's getting late, I've bookmarked it though so I will take a look later on.

If you want any additional blocks or modules let me know, I amassed a large amount of them when doing my site, made some custom ones as well if you would like to take a look sometime.

Paul, it's all good, I simply didn't appreciate the way that you came in, made a passing comment without explaining and left it at that, then you come back and start namecalling and brining posts into it. There are forums where I have thousands of posts, makes me no better or worse than a newbie. Lets leave it at that. No hard feelings.

Sorry for the double post.

The theme was actually created by VPixel and there aren't a lot of copies online. Of course the theme has undergone major re-construction to get it to where it is both aesthetically and for functionality. I wanted it clean, professional looking and easy to navigate.
