    Question Why no signature ?

Can i know why this forum dont allow signature links ?

Webmasters are always willing to gain some traffic..
So whats wrong if they get traffic from their postig effort :crazy1:

Also i dont see avatar option too.

There is are show signatures / avatar options under Visible Post Elements which means you'll see sig's on posts.

Temi ... are the sig's visible to SE's, are we getting links from sig's ?

    OK i can see now..
The default forum option to allow signature view was unchecked..
I checked it now... Ad can see now.. Changed avatar too...

Temi - I think you should make it default "show signatures"

Signatures are also not automatic, you have to have a certain amount of posts to get link benefit from your signature.

The aim of UKWW is to create a resource that WORKS. Many people dive in, make 5 posts to get sig link benefit, and then run away. Most often their post quality is crap, and SADDER than that is they miss out on participating long term in a VERY good resource.

I personally like signatures to be visible but I don't go to a forum for that usually!! I go for the content and quality of the forum and as you can plainly see, this is a well managed forum!! I think I will hang!!

If you logout you will see what search engines see (in theory). I can see sig links so search engines should be able to aswell. Unless of course a cookie is telling my browser to display sig links, in which case search engines won't see the sig links because they don't use cookies...

Well after logging out disabling cookies, returning here and hitting refresh a few times i can still see sig links.

So the answer is search engines can see sigs.
