The Indian car producer Tata Motors signed on Wednesday the acquisition contract for the British brands Land Rover and Jaguar. Tata Motors paid Ford over two billion dollars, the Press Trust of India news agency informs.
Ford lost 2.7 billion dollars in 2007, after a record loss of 12.6 billion dollars in 2006 and focuses now on reviving the operations in North America.

Well, it now remains that chinese car producer Geely to buy Lamborghini.

And that particular company manufactures the cheapest car in the world if I heard it correctly on the news yesterday. What a contrast!

Yes indeed, Tata Motors created cheapest car in the world, 2.467$ a piece.

Yea this is other big deal from TATA after a logn time and now seems to come up with full fledge in this industry. As it has already launched a car named tata naino for a very cheap rates.

This will now change some working pattern and will see what Tata makes in the coming days.

Indian's are on a roll! TATA - owns TETLEY TEA, CORUS STEEL AND now JAGUAR & LAND -ROVER - all in England!

Buy tea,steel or car - it is from India!

Steel for Jag comes from Corus & Corus workers get to drink Tetley Tea - producers become consumers - all in the family! Way to go for TATA!!
