MSN Site Preview Not Working?

Hi everybody

Most of us have "MSN Site Preview" tool activated on our directories, to include thumbnails of the websites.

Recently (probably most of the weekend), that haven't been working.

Anybody know if it is just because there's a glitch in the system, or is it something mor sinister like they've changed the code or *shudder* stopped the service?

Hmmm, bit more digging says it's a DNS issue:

No problem RiverWire, you can still use Girafa however you must signup for an account, membership is free and in order to sign up you must visit their site.

What does Girafa do specifically? Are they directory site specific?

Girafa just provides thumbshots, has nothing to do with directories...

I tried the artviper one and did not think it was that good.

http://open.thumbshots.org/image.pxf?url= works perfectly well and is free to use.
