Directories bid for position V regular directories

I think bid for position directory is taking businessed from traditional web directories, well I seem to be using them more, here are some of the reasons:

1. you can get on bid directory homepage easily
2. They are all paid so they approve faster
3. Many of them approve your link instantly so you do not have to wait a long time for approval
4. Though most of them do not have good PR but they are pretty strong.

I am sure there are many other reasons.
