Thumbs up My Site is in DMOZ!

I can't remember when I submitted my site to DMOZ, it must have been over two months ago now, but I checked my logs earlier today (AWSTATS) and I had received a hit from DMOZ. I checked the category and (amazingly) my site had been listed! :armada37:

    I'm so happy!

I won't link to the site, nothing special about it, I just wanted to see if I could make a valid xHTML / CSS site. I used tables though, is that cheating?

Congratulations, that is one of the fastest DMOZ approval I have every head about. I have sort of given up on submitting my site to DMOZ, i think you testimony may encourage me to start submitting there again.

    BTW, which of your sites?

Depends on the category, mine was small but it was being edited by someone who manages most of the categories above it (I think).

How quickly a category is edited depends on how busy the category is, wether the category has an editor or now. You site may be approved tomorrow or in 5 years or never.

Inclusion in DMOZ is a gamble
