Ummm,
what criteria do you use to measure popularity? If I am correct companies like Alexa are already doing something much more sophisticated than the one you are doing without the need to register first.
What is new or unique about your project?

I submitted my website. nice idea, though for it to be really good it'd need to be picked up by one of the bigger websites like alexa.
