i want to know what are the advance techniques used for seo. can anyone explain me about that.

What do you mean by advanced? There are several steps in SEO work starting from keyword analysis (KEI index for example), site optimisation, link building, monitoring and analytics.
For somebody SEO can be writing metatags, for someones just copying your keywords to page titles, etc...
But content, usage of header (H) tags, how to you link to your pages in your site, image ALT tags, etc all have effect.

ON-Page Optimization: Keyword analysis, competitors analysis, Web page analysis, Sitemap creation and submission to Google and Yahoo search engine's. ect

OFF-Page Optimization: Free r Paid Directories & Deeplink Directories, social bookmarking, Articles, Press Release, Blog creations and commenting on other blogs, participating in other forums and Google, yahoo & Orkut groups...ect

Meta tags are pretty much dead, actually i only bother to include the description. I aim to write custom descriptions, which are used internally in search modules as well.

Custom descriptions are known to increase the CTR of some pages. But using the keywords meta tag is just pointless these days.

The breadcrumb links, navigation links, and incoming links is of far greater value. There ain't really anything called advanced seo techniques, it all comes down to more or less obvious choices, which any web designer should be able to make on his own, given he got his hands free to do so.
