Why do you bother building yet another directory list? There must be hundreds already, and surely by now people know the good directories
from the bad.

Actually, I was trying to point out that you're not getting anywhere copying others ideas, and hoping you'll put your time to better use eg: like building something original, not a strange request bcos people don't buy into crap, never mind reading it.

Hardly, hehehe - I happen to own the top directory in its industry, see I got smart and built something original and useful, and now I'm reaping the rewards as a result.

Heres some great advice:


1. You aint getting rich off a bunch of webmaster owners

2. You won't ever build a quality website from the tips on forums

3. If I think of a great idea, I promise you I'll never post it on some forum when I can get rich off it myself.

No you didn't, but what I gave wasn't a review! Why are you getting so wound up over a cheap directory script that's not even filled yet? I could understand if you were defending a marvelous idea, but it isn't, and currently, as this 'creation' stands - you don't have anything yet. Empty websites are the biggest sin on the web, so how you can expect searchers, sorry webmasters : cough - (totally different to real searchers) will stick around on your site, I don't know, and youre acting like its the best thing in the world.

Why, don't you have any ideas of your own? So think of one without ripping off someone elses idea, it's hard work, but its one of lifes trade-offs if you want to make money. I mean thats why you're here right......

The above are just some of the most original ideas ever seen on the web, and you say there's nothing like that. Beats the heck out of some directory of directories wouldn't you say..

My point? Well the guys that own the site make real money and are somebody! they achieved something in life and made a real difference to the web, unlike those in it for some scam or cheap orgasm. Dont waste your time with a piece of crap, when you can build something great.

Again who says I was specifically aiming this advice at you? This is your problem, you clearly don't read the subtle messages that crop up in posts, you and others, take things so literally, and bcos of that manner, you misread posts and decide to insult others who are trying to help. Crazy why so many beg for tips thinking if they get enough, it will amazingly do wonders for their crap little sites, then cry when the bad advice they begged for doesn't work. Still they hang about forums when the last advice got them nowhere and guess what, the next advice will fail too.

So when someone like me offers great advice, instead of taking it, you hurl insults like some kid. Not very mature.
