It is going to be at least two months in reality, as we have a few jobs on the go that need finishing first.

That is very interesting, I can imagine that it would be a lot of work, I can't wait to hear more!

BTW, there's a number of "Family Friendly" directories and sites out there, the problem with most of them is that half or more than half of their listings go nowhere. Will you have a spider or something that checks to see if your listings are still valid?

We do have a spider that goes out and checks for broken links, it then suspends the listings, and gives us a report of bad sites, and visits them later. Hopefully there will not be any dead links from the site, but you never know how things will pan out. never say never is the way.

We want the site to be comprehensive, so we will be making it free inclusion, but will only allow proper sites in. By proper read sites that are non spam and that people have put thought into. We will make money by selling sponsorships in the various categories, and this option will be on a first come first served basis in each cat.

Well we finally decided on the name and registered it. We had a few and eventually went with 'netnibbler' the line we are taking is 'nibbling the best bits on the net', My tagline of 'nibbling your best bits' was overruled . We will have some sort of animal nibbling logo, although I think a mouse has been a bit overdone, so we might make an animal up.
