Would that be useful for my SEO or PR? or it is bad to submit too many of those directories.
I am sorry "opeth", I don't intended to hijack your thread, it just my tiny concern that is.........

It's an interesting concept.
One danger about being listed on "free" directories is that the chances are the chap running it would get bored after a PR update. This could lead to two things:-
- Mass acception, so your link will be on the same page as spam/viagra links.
- The directory getting pulled down, so you lose the link anyway.
Neither of them spell the end to your website as a whole (think of all the links to places like Google, or indeed to sites like Directory Critic - does these sites take a hit if their link is on their site? Probably not) providing your whole link building strategy isn't based on submission to free directories. It should only be a part of it, with article writing, blogs, forum posts, reciprocal link exhanges etc.
Some of the free directories do hold a lot more value than others - niched ones in particular can be quite beneficial, as not only do you get google juice, you also can get traffic from them, as these niched ones are ranked highly.
My general strategy is building pages linking to the site I am promoting. It's a longer process, but if one site takes a hit in google, then the others are fine
