Virus & Antivirus - Poll - Please vote!
If you know that there is some virus arround, if you heard about some antivirus solution, let us know too. If you have problems with some virus, let us know maybe we can help you...I mean real help and not format c:

I use AVG and I like very much is free; is low memmory consummer; i use it for 1 year and I'm still not infected  )

I use AVG as well but lapsed for a short while and got hit by a few virus' that are more of a pain than an actual threat (so far).
I think their old virus' too which makes it hard to find a cure for them. I'll post them here shortly.

McAfee, it works great and stops anything that has tried to get on my comp.

Doesn't McAffee have spyware in it? Also, I thought it was a bit of a resource pig but I haven't used it for years. Of course I now have some virus issues so maybe it's time for me to stfu

lol, why would it spywear in it when you have to purchase it??
No it works great, it detects virus or spywear, all that junk and tells you that it has been cleaned/deleted.

You purchase Windows and it has spyware in it. It's actually among some of the first files that programs such as Spybot Search and Destroy look for. They also get their virus definitions, locations and points of origin from somewhere.
