Windows XP life extended till 2010

Microsoft has given Windows XP another lease of life. MS original schedule was for PC manufacturers to stop selling XP from this months, this has now been extended to 2010, the condition is that its installed only on low cost desktop PC.

Why it's a bad news.Though I'm using vista at the moment, still I have some complain against Vista.

In my office, few new PCs have Vista, they keep bugging with the server ... so we are going back to XP again. Even some big names in the industry decided to wait for Windows 7 - don't wanna move to Vista from XP.

It's good news for the "Ultra Low Cost PCs" which can still be shipped with XP. The shipping of XP options is due to finish at the end of June 2008.
