Patients’ private information accidentally exposed on Web
Wellcare of Georgia announced in a notification that sensitive details of some of it’s patients were published on the web due to a human error of an employee who was working with the database.
The informations didn’t contain credit card numbers or any other financial informations, but only names, birthdays and other private details.
The company appologized for this error and starting writing letters to the ones affected by the exposure, giving them for free one year credit monitoring.
