Default Yahoo fending off take over

It is reported that the low value of Yahoo is making it a take over target. Some names listed in New York Post as potential buyer for Yahoo are: AOL, AT&T, CBS, Comcast, Microsoft, Viacom and News Corp. Private equity firms and venture capitalist are also said to be among interested buyers.

I don't think Yahoo will be taken over. They will claw back eventually.

But its better if Yahoo and Microsoft merge. Then they'll have a chance against google.

This post was originally made before the Microsoft bid was announced. Its a matter of time before someone take over Yahoo, if Microsoft did not success, another predator will pounce.
Yahooo's days as an independent company are numbered given how poorly it seem to be performing.
