Blank Index.php

Hi,

Just installed the shop, and same as the other guys thread my admin panel works well but not my shop. If i browse to mysite.com/shop its blank?

Ive checked the .htaccess file and its all correctly named.

Any suggestions?

Please, make sure that the hosting space enabled you the mod rewrite module.

check the index.php - had any content or its empty?

Same problem here..

The index page is blank.. and all other parts in admin is working.. so I am not sure if this is the problem for Register Globals.
Any help ?

Anand, sadly there is something wrong with the module which generates the search engine friendly URLs and that causes the problem. During the test installation we never meet with this problem, but as you might read it is a common problem. If the seo friendly URLs are not as important for you i would like to ask you to set the $mosConfig_sef value at the configuration file to zero instead of the 1. This will solve the problem. If you want me to fix this at your site please fill this form and i wil have a look at your site. In the next couple of days i will upload a newer package that will solve this problem and make possible to use the sef module.

That worked but the URL looks really ugly and I am sure this will not do well with search engines. here is URL after index file - index.php?&vmcchk=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2 6

Well I also had to put OFF the SEO URL option from the administrator >> general configuration panel. So anyone trying the option given by Bagi and if unsuccessful then please put OFF the SEO URL in admin panel.

I really hope Bagi and other Boss Cart programmers will come up with a patch for this bug. Please try to give this in short time.

I am loving the Boss Cart shopping cart.

Anand i passed forward the new package for the other guy. If everything will be fine with him i am going to execute one more test, updating the demo store. If it will be succesfull i will upload the new package. I am not sure when it will happen, but guess in the next few days.
