com_virtuemart Addon Help

hi i found a addon for virtuemart

which i know virtuemart is installed on BossCart JV Series

its called Lightbox + More Images

i had to overwrite the administrator - components - com_virtuemart - html - shop_product_details.php file "WHICH I DID

Then i had to go into components - com_virtuemart - JS and copy over 2 folders which has FILES IN

1. MOOTOOLS
2. SLIMBOX

So i did that and theres still Know option in the BossCart Administration Backend to add more images?

Is there a way to get this to work or not?

Or if there is could you add it into the installation so when you install BossCart it will include this Feature with the files i have used, i will send the files if that is whats NEEEDED

it also comes with an IE 7 FIX

As you wrote JV was originally a Joomla and Virtuemart, but a lot of file has changes since the start. Theoritically every virtuemart addons should work, but as far as i know the admin panel is the bottle-neck, because when you upload a new image for a product it will overwrite the existing one, so uploading slimbox and mootools and a html file is not enough to change the image displaying function in my opinion but after reading the page form where it can be downloaded i can imagine it will work.

Thanks... well i did all it said i also replace {product_image} with the code you have to use which they say but it still doesnt give me the option for some reason is that the way the BossCart has been setup?

Well, as default the Joomla which has a virtuemart component installed has a javascript popup image viewer, which has been replaced with the mootools and slimbox effect. I suppose it was hacked in the ps_product file, but can not really remember it was long time ago. If i were you i would give a try with pure Joomla + Virtuemart installation, where it may work.

Hey ok will try that lol...

But also anothter way i was thinking was if i REINSTALL BossCart and do the Changes before i actually start actually installing to see if that works what do you think?

It won't make any difference i think. Installing doesn't play role in this game, but the hosted files on your server.

Ok so how come it doesnt work with BossCart when all it is, is a few minor changes
