Demo page ??

I have created the boss shopping cart just fine. excepet I have the message up at the top that says this is a demo page and will not be deliverd. Is there something in the admin that I have to enable to get that message away and activate the shopping cart?? Please help. Also where do you enter in your bank information, or where the money that people pay go to. Is that managed by my ssl certificate?? Thanks

Hi, thank you for using the BossCart!
On the downloading server location the installation package shouldn't containt the demo page text, but maybe I made a mistake, will check it very soon.
I compiled a template patch and attached to this post, please download this and after extracting the zip file please upload its content to your installation folder. It will solve every template related issue.
Concerning the payment BossCart JV script is able to use the https chanel but since only a few domain registrator make possible to use the secure version of the purchased domainI would like to suggest you to use PayPal as payment gateway since it is a very popular and acknowledged service, which use secure hypertext protocol. During the shopping process the JV will try to redirect the shopper to secure chanel hence it is necessary to set the a secure URL as well. Please select the shopping cart configuration at the admin frontpage from the graphical options and at the Path&URL tab you may specify if the https:// version of the installed URL is ready to use. If not you need to type the domain with http:// prefix. This is normally set during the install process.
In order to configure the PayPal as payment gateway please select the shopping cart >> payment configuration >> payment gateways from the drop down menu. A list of gateways will be appeared. Please make sure that only the PayPal is publised. If it is done click on the name of PayPal at the list. Under the text Payment Method Form you may see the configuration tab where you may set your preferences including the email which you use as PayPal login id.

Thanks for the info, yaI posted and it worked good. Also when you make the items featured they are going to show up on the home page??? I tried that and they do not show on the home page. How to you get your items to show up on home page??

Please set your preferences at the fronpage manager at the admin main page. For instance if the image filter is set and you haven't uploaded the product image it won't be dispayled at the frontend though it is marked as special. So you need to set your preferencies first.

Ahh I see. You turned the seo module off. the script was hacked to run at apache webservers where mod_rewrite is enabled. Is your site hosted on a windows server or why did you turn the seo module off?

I turned seo off because when it was on the links to the content pages would not show up. I do have this on aapache server. thanks

I see, so the mod rewrite is enable. Have you renamed the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess? Maybe it would be easier if you could give an ftp login to me and would check what i can do for you.
