ssl support required?

Hi all,
I installed Bosscart on a server which doesn't support ssl. Doh! But... I need to use PayPal anyway, so in this case is an install on a non-ssl server secure enough to accept PayPal ppyments, or do I need to move to another host?

Also, how important to seo is an apache server for Bosscart?

Apologoies if the above makes no sense, I'm not a developer, just trying to make some sense of it all...

Thanks for your message. You do not need SSL enabled site to install Boss Cart and accept payment by PayPal, actually when transaction gets to the Payment acceptance part, you customer will be transferred to PayPal's SSL enabled site, so credit card detils collected will be safe.

But its essential that when you collect personal details from you customer, its done over SSL enable page (just the page, the whole site does not have to be SSL enabled)
May sites collect personal details without doing it over SSL but its good practice to collect it over SSL.

If the https version of your domain is available then redirecting the whole website to this version could provide the secure transfering.

Might I add that on part of the site you want to make secured are placed on SSL. SSL slows down a site so the part of your site for browsing should not be placed on SSL.
