why appear \bc in my address bar after installation?

I have to install bosscart, but when i launch via localhost, that appear localhost\bosscart\bc?
What's the meaning bc?

Andra, the URL called bc handle the cookie check, but it is not followed by search engines so won't be indexed.

hi, after having loads of issues trying to download the previous version of bosscart i was so pleased to find this new version.
However, i now have a problem. I have installed bosscart and managed to turn globals off via .htaccess in my root so now i have ticks for all stages of install. Back office seems to work fine amd can i say looks great.
My problem is when i look at the front end i get error 404 page not found and my address becomes http://nicks-vibrators.co.uk/bc i have a shared server with 1 and 1 .co.uk and i know there are reported issues with them but i notice that bc appears in setting up the database aswell. is there a resolve to this. I have requested a free install through your posted form but would love to mend this myself if you have an answer? thanks in advance. naughtynick.

the \bc path was not found after i download new file from bosscart (i re install again). But now, i have some problem with SEO. When i switch the Search Engine Friendly URLs to yes, link is not fix, that's appear NOT FOUND. Can you tell me the solution, please

Hi Andra, yes from the new version the bc is eliminated from the URL. Concerning your current problem I would check if the .htaccess.txt file has been renamed to .htaccess deleting its file extension. If it is done it is possible that adding this code

Options +Indexes
Options +FollowSymlinks

to the beginning of the mentioned file would solve this problem.
