index.php is blank

I installed everything, it seemed to operate fine. The administrator panel works fine as well, however the main page displays and completely blank. Do you know why this is happening? Thanks!

I changed the file to .htaccess, but this time it spit this back at me:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/curlzgon/public_html/shcart/components/com_content/content.php on line 1388

I had the same problem but I fixed with this code that replaced the line 1388

echo ' ';

It's still buggy, because I get a blank screen...

If I indicate directly at /index2.php the only thing that is appearing is the background image :|
