Internal server error

After unzipped to a local server and point browser (/localhost/bosscart/]) i received the follow error:

Internal server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script
Error 500

i'm using xampp version 1.6.1
PHP/5.2.1

Please make sure you configured your server correctly that it matches these criteria:

* minimum MySQL 4.1.21-standard
* cURL enabled (more information at cURL and libcurl)
* mod rewrite ON

Also the error sounds like there is a problem with processing the PHP code as cgi - did you test any other apps on it?

That´s it! The problema was cURL. Thank you Piotrek.
After that was almost fine.
I don't knomw if the reason is because I use xampp, but I can't turn mod_rewrite ON (httpd.conf). I found a line: "LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" and I set it active (cut #) but when instal BossCart "mode_rewrite" was not found" :sCo_idk4:
Can you help please?..

I'm glad we found at least part of the problem. The rest, yes, it may be due to xampp, but make sure you check xampp config intructions, perhaps you missed something. Also there is updated version 1.6 available (some bugs were fixed), maybe it will do better. Even if it still says 'mod_rewrite: not found" does it let you to continue the installation?
