Hello,

Sorry to hear you have problems. What is your MySQL server version, please?
It seems the version you are using has differences in syntax in comparison to the versions Boss Cart is compatible to. It will probably require small change in the driver file. Of course assuming it is the only syntax error...

Kind Regards,
Piotrek

Hello again,

It is really adviced to update MySQL version, we run Boss Cart on MySQL 4.1.21-standard, but I guess few versions back or ahead wouldn't make a difference, but 4.1.10 is far behind... It is also a security issue. Perhaps you are able to upgrade?

I tried to find a solution to this, but I'm affraid the changes in syntax of MySQL has gone so far since your version that you might end up finding such problems every few steps of the way. So once more I suggest update.

Best Regards,
Piotrek

Hello,

You cannot do it yourself. But being honest, your hosting company should really consider upgarding. Leaveing that much outdated versions of basic server services is like opening the door for those scams that want do destroy sites and servers If you consider a live shop then it is worth the effort even to change your hosting company not to loose money or business later on...

The other solution is to make the script compatibile with your version, but this would require to rewrite some of the parts of the code which we cannot afford to do right now. I can suggest you to try out olderest version of Boss Cart, which might not have this problem but this would be downgarding...

Best Regards,
Piotrek
