Hi there,
I have installed everything according to the instructions, and the tests in step 2 of install.php worked fine and reported everything OK. However, on Step 3, I am getting the "Could not connect to MySQL using the specified connection data" error. I have created a user in the MySQL database and a database called bosscart, and granted the user access rights. I have also checked re-write permissions on the BossCart files for the Apache server user, and this is good too. Is there anything else I have missed that could be causing this error? Many thanks, David P.S. I am putting BossCart onto a Windows Server, on my LAN and I have admin access. This means that I can browse the folders, and am not using FTP access to manage the files and permissions. |
