Setting Up Email
Hi,
Thanks for your previous help - I'm making good progress.
I've just carried out a test registration but I didn't receive the Activation Email. I have a POP3 email server on the Host but my SMTP is on another website that I run. Can you please advise what my Mailer: settings should be.

Hello again, so if I were you I would let the email setting at the default state, which was the php mail function. The problem will be somehere else. If you use the default admin user, so you log in as admin into the administrator panel, please go to the user management selecting at the graphic control panel and you will be able to add your email adress by clicking on the Administrator name.
If it is done, save and test again.

Bagi,
Thanks for your quick response. I don't thing I explained that very well.
I've ordered an item from the Shop and clicked on Checkout. I've then Registered a new User (not Admin) and entered a valid email address for that new user as well as all of the other items of Customer data.
When I click on 'Send Registration' the next page tells me that a Activation Email has been sent to my email address - but the email does not arrive.
In Configuration.php page there is a 'Mail' tab. I've set the dropdown to 'PHP mail function', entered a 'Mail From:' address, a 'From Mail:, and the default 'Sendmail Path' is set to /usr/sbin/sendmail. All of the fields below are left blank.
But I still don't receive the customer activation email.

May I know the URI of your site, I would check the acvitation email, maybe it was lost in your spam folder.

But not the Customer Activation email to two test Customers (with valid email addresses).

Hello, sorry I was offline lately. I see that you have disabled the forced account activation. I tested the ordering ang the notification arrived successfuly
